Dr. Debra L. Wright, the Executive Director for the Ray of Hope Foundation, is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience in the non-profit sector. Dedicated to providing compassionate, inclusive, accessible support and advocacy for people of all ages and backgrounds. From youth navigating their formative years to adults facing life’s pressures and elders seeking support and connection. Dr. Wright earned a Doctorate (Ed.D.) and Education Specialist (Ed.S.) in Educational Leadership from National Louis University, along with a Master of Business Administration from Southeastern University. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts & Sciences from Florida State University.
Her leadership and expertise have been instrumental in public education as she has served as a middle and high school principal. Dr. Wright uses research and her experiences to develop systems to increase performance through innovative pedological and result-oriented strategies. As a community advocate, Dr. Wright authentically fosters relationships and builds capacity which has impacted the success of the communities that she serves.
